Andrew Dixon

MBBS (Hons) FRANZCR

Andrew is a Consultant Radiologist and Co-Director of Radiology Training at the Alfred Hospital in Melbourne, Australia. He has primary subspecialty expertise in neuroradiology, with secondary interests in musculoskeletal imaging and trauma radiology. 

He is a keen radiology educator, having achieved international recognition for his courses including Radiopaedia's Radiology Review Course, Trauma Radiology Course, Emergency Radiology Course, Medical Imaging Anatomy Course and Adult Brain MRI Review Course. His outreach efforts include the Radiology Channel on YouTube and Radiology Signs project on social media. 

His primary research interest is in the use of technology in radiology, including deep learning and social media.  He is currently Radiopaedia's academic director. He is a University of Melbourne Honorary Senior Lecturer.
