Case Discussion

Cryptorchidism is usually identified in childhood. The location of the testicles outside of the scrotum can have implications for fertility and an increased risk of malignancy if left uncorrected.

Diffusion weighted MRI sequences can be exquisite at identifying an intra-abdominal testicle as a normal testicle exhibits intense diffuse restriction.
