Presentation

Headaches. Abnormal configuration of the skull since birth.

Patient Data

Age: 35 years
Gender: Female
CT

Narrow, and elongate skull in the anteroposterior direction with bossing of the frontal region 

Normal posterior cerebral fossa and cerebral hemispheres with mild enlargement of the ventricular system.

Case Discussion

Case of scaphocephaly which is considered as the most common form of craniosynostosis.

The differential diagnosis in this case is the congenital absence of the sagittal suture, which is an isolated anomaly without skull deformation.
