Pellegrini stieda lesion

Gender: Male

A thin curvilinear calcific density projects over the medial aspect of the distal femur. The remainder of the knee is essentially normal. 

Case Discussion

The location of calcification is characteristic of a Pellegrini Stieda lesion and represents previous medial collateral ligament (MCL) injury
