Gender: Female

Sagittal FLAIR images demonstrate abnormal plaques of the corpus callosum as well as the perpendicular appearance of Dawson fingers

Case Discussion

Dawson fingers are pathognomonic for multiple sclerosis secondary to an inflammatory process around penetrating venules, these veins are perpendicular to the ventricular surface.
