Axial non-contrast
Non-enhanced CT scan shows multiple hypoattenuating lesions in the liver. In arterial phase and venous phase contrast material enhanced CT scans show progressive, peripheral, globular enhancement, which is highly suggestive of hemangioma.
Case Discussion
This case shows the pathognomonic features of hepatic hemangiomas, namely, peripheral nodular enhancement and progressive centripetal fill-in.
