There is Severe hepatomegally; Particullary, left lobe of the liver is tumoral with heterogeneous enhancement. The mass enhanced on early phase and washed out at delayed phase and become indistinct or hypodense compared to the rest of the liver at the delayed phase. Portal vein tumor thrombus also is noted at the left side. Abdominal free fluid and porta hepatis lymphadenopathy are seen.
The findings in a 65 Y/O patient with jaundice and elevated alpha fetoprotein are consistent with hepatocellular carcinoma.
Note the dilated hepatic artery at early phase which is compatible with hypervascular hepatic tumors.
