Presentation

Hypertension.

Patient Data

Age: 60 years
Gender: Female
CT

Severe intraluminal calcification of the suprarenal and pararenal aorta, along with bilateral renal atrophy likely due to long-standing aortic/renal arterial disease. Bilateral pleural effusions which are small on right and moderate on left with associated passive atelectasis. Colonic diverticulosis, without diverticulitis. 

Case Discussion

Severe intraluminal calcification of the suprarenal and pararenal aorta, which is a classic location of coral reef aorta. Patient has long standing hypertension.
