Semimembranosus-tibial collateral ligament bursa
The semimembranosus-tibial collateral ligament bursa is located at the posteromedial aspect of the knee at the medial aspect of the semimembranosus tendon. It may also be known more simply as the semimembranosus bursa.
It is distinct from the pes anserinus bursa, which is more closely related to the deep aspect of the pes anserinus tendons.
