Knowledge integration questions emphasize integration of provided information from multiple areas of knowledge. Correctly answering these questions will draw on understanding from a substantial body of knowledge. They should not have an accompanying image.
These are the most common type of question used in multiple choice exams but are also the hardest to write.
A previously well 50-year-old male presents with a mixed solid-cystic posterior fossa mass. Routine lab examinations reveal a significantly elevated hematocrit. The posterior fossa mass most likely represents which of the following?
