The arm (also known as the upper arm) is part of the upper limb below the pectoral girdle and above the forearm, comprising the humerus

The elbow joint is inferior and the glenohumeral joint is superior. Arm flexion, extension, abduction, adduction, internal rotation and external rotation occur at the shoulder.

See humerus series for radiographic positioning.
